Missions

Go and make disciples of all nations.

Stand Firm creates opportunities for men, women, and youth to serve diverse communities and make disciples beyond our local area, both domestically and internationally.

Why we go

The last thing Jesus said is the first thing we do.

Jesus told His followers to go and make disciples. Mission trips take what we practice every week – Scripture, community, and training – and put it to work serving people who need to hear the gospel.

Trips are open to men, women, and youth, and every team travels together as a Stand Firm family. You don't need experience. You need a willing heart and a spot on the roster.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”Matthew 28:19–20 (King James Version)

The Great Commission

Make His last words our first work.

Jesus told His followers to go and make disciples. The work begins with becoming one and choosing to help someone else follow Him.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."Matthew 28:19-20
